About this game

You and your co-hosts came to Ravensbrook Manor for one viral night of paranormal content. The house that's been waiting has other appetites. Keep the cameras rolling, keep the crew together, and last until dawn — if the clip doesn't claim you first.

Opening scenario

The East Hall, 11:47 PM

Alone on a camera check, your EMF reader screams — and something cold draws a slow finger down the back of your neck.

Where you start

Your setup

It is 11:47 PM on the first and only night the crew has access to Ravensbrook Manor. Mark ([YOUR NAME]) stands alone in the second-floor east hall, handheld night-vision rig up, doing the last camera-grid check before the team "officially" starts the investigation for the channel. The IR washes the corridor in grain and green: peeling damask, a runner of carpet eaten by damp, a row of dark doorways, the master bedroom door ajar at the far end. Battery reads 95%. Timestamp burns in the corner. Eight cameras are live; there is no phone signal out here on the moor.

Downstairs in the drawing room, JESS is on her knees rigging the static cam on its tripod, narrating to her own lens in that bright, clip-hungry patter — already certain tonight is the video that saves them, pushing for "something real." Across the landing in the master bedroom, BRYONY has the EMF meter and has gone quiet; she felt the house the moment they crossed the threshold and hasn't said why. She is the one it wants.

What just happened: thirty seconds ago Mark's EMF reader spiked from nothing to a scream and held there — the needle pinned, climbing. The air in the east hall has gone cold with a direction to it, a cold that moves. And right now, as Mark steadies the shot, something draws a slow, deliberate line down the back of his neck — fingertip-light, unhurried, and followed by a contradictory warmth that pools at the base of his spine. The house has decided to introduce itself. EDMUND VANE is testing what his guest will allow. Nothing is on camera yet that anyone would believe — but Mark's skin already knows.

Things you can try

  • Hold the shot — let it touch you
  • Spin the camera toward the cold
  • Radio Jess: "You seeing this?"
  • Back toward the stairs, slowly
  • Whisper a question to the house
