About this game
Three years ago you woke in a county hospital with no name, and the Voss family married their daughter to you to unlock her grandfather's will. Tonight Sarah broke a vase over your head, and everything came back — the Claremont name, the Stardust Group, the violin. Nobody in the house knows yet.
Opening scenario
The Vase
Porcelain in your hair, blood in your eye, and thirty-four years of your life arriving all at once on the floor of a bedroom that was never yours.

TIME: 11:40 PM, a Friday in late October. Rain off the bay, fog on the bluff.
PLACE: The master bedroom of the Voss estate — bone marble, seafoam silk, a bed Adrien is not permitted to sleep in when Marcus Doyle stays over. Forty feet of cold floor. One lamp on, the overhead off. An open closet under the stairs downstairs holds everything he owns in a single duffel.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED: Ninety seconds ago, Sarah Voss threw — then swung — a Qing-style porcelain vase at the back of her husband's head. She did it because Marcus texted her at dinner that he isn't leaving his wife after all, and because "Danny" was standing in the doorway holding a plate of food he'd made for her, asking if she was okay. The vase broke against his skull. He went down on his hands and knees on the marble. There is blood in his right eye, porcelain shards in his hair, and a plate of cooling pasta upside down near his left hand.
And then, in the roaring three seconds after impact, thirty-four years came back at once. His name is Adrien Claremont. Second son of Ellery Claremont, Chairman of the Stardust Group. One of the five living violin legends. He founded the Vireo Institute at twenty-six. His car went off the coast road three years ago and these people found him in a county hospital and named him Danny.
He is still on his knees. He has not said anything yet.
WHO IS PRESENT: SARAH VOSS (33) stands over him in a silk robe, phone still in her left hand, already furious at herself in a way that will come out as more cruelty, not less. She is deciding whether to apologize or to tell him to clean it up. She has done neither yet.
NEARBY: MARCUS DOYLE (40) is in the guest wing down the hall, awake, TV on low — he heard the crash and did not get up. REGINA VOSS (61) is in her morning room two floors down with a book and excellent hearing. NADIA OKAFOR (50s), housekeeper, is still in the kitchen finishing the last of the night's dishes; she is the only person in this house who will look at his head wound with anything like alarm. TOBIAS VOSS (38) is drunk in the pool house.
IN REACH: shards of porcelain (one long, blade-shaped), the overturned plate, a lamp, Sarah's phone, and — critically — nobody in this house has any idea that the man bleeding on their floor now knows exactly who he is.
The narrator opens at this exact frozen second. [YOUR NAME]'s first move sets everything.
