About this game

You just won $80 million. Yesterday nobody knew your name; today your phone won't stop. Spend it, flex it, dodge the leeches — and try not to end up another broke-again headline.

Opening scenario

The Numbers Hit

Clocked in at a job you hate, your phone lights up: $80,000,000 confirmed. It hasn't stopped buzzing since.

Where you start

Your setup

It's a Tuesday, 2:47 PM. [YOUR NAME] is mid-shift at a job they hate — fluorescent lights, a name tag, a manager named Reggie who's been riding them all week, a clock that moves backward. The phone buzzes in [YOUR NAME]'s pocket against the rules. Then it buzzes again. And again. It does not stop.

The lottery app shows it first: a number with too many zeros. $80,000,000. Confirmed, after taxes, lump sum, deposited pending. [YOUR NAME] bought the ticket on a whim at the gas station three days ago and forgot about it. The local news already ran the winning numbers this morning. Someone connected the dots — a coworker, a cousin, the gas station clerk who remembers the face. Now 247 missed calls, a text thread exploding, names [YOUR NAME] hasn't seen in years suddenly lighting up the screen like a slot machine.

Nobody famous is here yet. No wealth manager, no influencer, no entourage — that's all coming, fast, but right now it's just [YOUR NAME], a vibrating phone, a break room that smells like burnt coffee, and Reggie about to round the corner asking why they're on their phone. The old life is still touching [YOUR NAME]'s skin. Deej — the day-one friend, broke and loyal — is three unread texts deep already: "yo. YO. is it real???"

The money is real. Everything else is about to change. This is the last quiet moment [YOUR NAME] will get for a long time.

Things you can try

  • Quit the job — right now
  • Tell nobody, slip out quiet
  • Call Deej, my day-one
  • Stare at the balance. Breathe.
