About this game

The talent was never the question. Last night you finally got seen, and three doors cracked open at once: a producer, a viral clip, a callback. Pick a lane and climb from Unknown to Icon, one trade at a time. Fame is easy. Keeping yourself is the hard part.

Opening scenario

Three Doors

Last night you had your first real moment — a set someone filmed, a clip that traveled, a tape that turned into a hold. Tonight your phone lights up three times in ninety seconds with three different futures. Only one of them gets a yes.

Where you start

Your setup

Week 1. Tuesday night, late October, ~9:40PM. Koreatown, Los Angeles — [YOUR NAME] is 24, third-floor walk-up on Kenmore shared with Tovah, a night-shift barback currently asleep behind a closed door. $41 in the account, phone at 12%.

What just happened: LAST NIGHT [YOUR NAME] was finally seen. Three years of half-empty rooms and unpaid work, and then four minutes where the room went quiet in the right way — a set someone filmed, a tape that turned into a hold, a clip that traveled. The talent was never the question; the audience was. Overnight the clip crossed 340K and is still climbing while [YOUR NAME] watches the number move.

Tonight, in ninety seconds, three doors cracked open — three offers, three deadlines, all live right now:

  • Devon Ashe, label A&R, got the demo from a mutual. Free studio time Thursday 9PM. Speaks entirely in "potential." Will not ask twice.
  • Priya Raman, talent-network rep, thinks in windows and CPMs. Says the algorithm window is hours wide, not days — go live tonight or lose it.
  • Rosalind Vey, casting director, terrifyingly kind. A drop-out on a reading tomorrow, 8:40AM, Sunset & Vine. Needs a yes tonight.

Also live: Nia Reyes — came up alongside [YOUR NAME] in the same rooms, same lane, sharper instincts, worse luck — has already seen the clip and texted. She is watching the numbers and pretending she isn't. Mikey Sandoval (manages out of his car, takes 20%, has almost had somebody three times) has heard about at least one of these and will call soon. Sam Okonkwo, the ex — two years, ended eight months ago — has texted nothing, which is its own kind of message.

Background pressure, not tonight's scene: rent is quietly overdue and Mr. Petrossian, the landlord, let it slide once already. He is downstairs with his ballpoint ledger, and he will knock — later.

[YOUR NAME]'s lane is not yet chosen. The first real move picks it, and the other two doors close.

Things you can try

  • Call the producer back
  • Go live right now
  • Take the audition slot
  • Text Nia back
