These Creator Terms (the "Creator Terms") govern your participation in the Larping Creator Program (the "Program"), operated by Larping ("Larping," "we," "us"). By accepting these Creator Terms during registration, you agree to be bound by them. The Program is offered in addition to, and incorporates, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If these Creator Terms conflict with the Terms of Service on a Program-specific topic, these Creator Terms control.
1. The Program
The Program lets you (a "Creator") earn a share of the revenue generated by users you refer to Larping. When you register, you receive a unique referral link. Users who click your link and create an account within the attribution window are recorded as your referrals, and you earn commissions on their qualifying spend as described below.
2. Eligibility and enrollment
- You must have a Larping account in good standing.
- You must have an active Larping subscription at the time of registration. A later lapse in your subscription does not by itself end your participation, but we may require an active subscription for continued participation with notice under Section 8.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to receive payouts.
- Enrollment is completed by accepting these Creator Terms in the Creator dashboard. No application or approval is required beyond the subscription requirement.
- We may decline, suspend, or terminate any Creator's participation as described in Section 7.
3. Referrals and attribution
- Your referral link carries a unique code. When a visitor arrives through it, we store that code in their browser for 60 days. If they create an account within that window, they become your referral.
- If a visitor clicks more than one Creator's link before signing up, the most recent link before signup wins.
- Attribution happens once, at account creation, and is then permanent: a referred user counts toward you for the lifetime of their account. Existing accounts cannot be re-attributed.
- Attribution is technical, not manual. We cannot retroactively attribute a user who signed up without your code recorded (for example, because they used a different browser or device, or cleared their cookies).
4. Commissions
- You earn 40% of Net Revenue from each qualifying payment made by your referred users, including subscriptions, subscription renewals, and token pack purchases.
- "Net Revenue" means the amount the user paid, minus payment processing and platform fees (for example, card processing fees on web purchases or app store commissions on iOS purchases), and excluding taxes. Payments that are refunded, reversed, or charged back generate no commission.
- Commissions accrue when a payment clears and become available for payout 30 days later. This maturation period covers the window in which payments are most commonly refunded or disputed.
- If a payment is refunded, disputed, or otherwise reversed after its commission accrued (including after it was paid out to you), the corresponding commission is reversed and deducted from your balance, which may make your balance negative until future commissions offset it.
- Commissions are calculated and paid in US dollars. Payments made in other currencies may not generate commissions.
- Commission balances are not interest-bearing, are not a deposit account, and cannot be transferred or sold.
5. Payouts
- You can request a payout from the Creator dashboard once your available balance reaches the minimum of $100.00 USD.
- Payouts are sent via PayPal to the email address you provide in your Creator settings. You are responsible for providing a correct, active PayPal address; we are not responsible for payouts sent to the address you supplied.
- Payout requests are reviewed manually and are typically processed within 5 business days. We may delay or withhold a payout while we investigate suspected fraud or a violation of these Creator Terms.
- You are solely responsible for any taxes on your Program earnings. We may require tax documentation (such as a W-9 or W-8 form) before releasing payouts where required by law, and we may report earnings to tax authorities where required.
6. Prohibited conduct
The following will result in reversal of commissions and may result in termination under Section 7:
- Self-referrals. Referring yourself, your own alternate accounts, or funding purchases on accounts you control through your own link.
- Incentivized or fraudulent signups. Paying, compensating, or otherwise incentivizing people to sign up or purchase; creating fake accounts; using bots or automation to generate clicks, signups, or purchases.
- Spam. Posting your link in violation of a platform's rules, unsolicited bulk messaging, comment spam, or misleading link practices.
- Misleading claims. Misrepresenting Larping, its pricing, its features, or your relationship with us; implying you are employed by or officially speak for Larping.
- Brand bidding. Bidding on "Larping" or confusingly similar terms in paid search, or registering domains or social handles designed to impersonate us.
- Prohibited content. Promoting Larping alongside content that violates our Terms of Service or applicable law.
7. Fraud, suspension, and termination
- We may withhold, adjust, or cancel commissions that we reasonably determine resulted from a violation of these Creator Terms or from fraudulent, invalid, or abusive activity.
- We may suspend or terminate your participation in the Program at any time for violation of these Creator Terms, with unpaid commissions from violating activity forfeited.
- You may leave the Program at any time by contacting us. Valid confirmed commissions above the payout minimum at the time of departure will be paid out in the normal course.
- Termination of your Larping account under the Terms of Service also ends your participation in the Program.
8. Program changes
- We may modify the Program, including the commission rate, the payout minimum, the maturation period, and the attribution window, or discontinue the Program entirely, at our discretion.
- Material changes will be announced with reasonable notice (for example, by email or a notice in the Creator dashboard). Changes apply prospectively: commissions already validly accrued at the then-current rate are honored.
- Continued participation after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the change.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Program is provided "as is." We do not guarantee any level of earnings, traffic, conversion, or attribution accuracy in the face of browser privacy features, ad blockers, or user behavior outside our control.
- You are an independent participant, not an employee, agent, partner, or franchisee of Larping. These Creator Terms create no joint venture and give you no authority to bind us.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of the Program is limited to the amount of unpaid, validly accrued commissions in your account at the time the claim arose.
